Edinburgh Botanics

The Bug and I spent a very enjoyable crisp winter morning with Auntie J, at the Botanics. The gardens were looking lovely, especially the heathland garden, and lovely alpines (a mini garden for a mini man). I got a bit jealous their Wych Hazel was flowering since mine is not. Perhaps it's lonely?

We witnessed evidence of this season's chubby squirrels and may have contributed by feeding them oatcakes.

We also had a tasty lunch at Earth, where the Bug was much admired, and was soaking up all the attention. I don't think he has quite figured out that he's not the centre of the entire universe (only the centre of mine).
