On board entertainment.
As I Spy has been more then exhausted as a means of whiling away time in the car, we decided to make a new car game by writing loads of things to spot on cards. We gave it a whirl to and from Tiverton today.
I don't quite know why Leo decided on a bumper 1000 points for spotting roadkill! He allegedly won the 1000 points today as he insists he spotted a squashed worm at the side of the road with clear tyre marks in it - all this as we whizzed at 60mph along the dual carriageway! Now, he does have the best eyesight in the house but we all remain unconvinced ;)
We also tried out the new monopoly game he bought with his Christmas money - extra. You have to fill your passport rather than build a property empire in this version - it was good fun and Ian won the inaugural game.
Other than that I've just had a tidy up type day. A charity bag through the letter box spurred me on to weed out some clothes from mine and Leo's wardrobes and then give it all a good re-organisation. It always takes seconds to pull it all out but hours to put back!
I need to tackle my stationery stash next - that can be next weekend's job.
