Gadding about again!

Another grey damp and eventually very wet day today!

Had a walk inbetween heavy showers , then dippy eggs and soldiers for brunch, which had to see us through until this evening, as we are off out to meet up with 4 friends, who we only see a couple of times a year.

The drive over to Cheshire was horrendous, so much surface water, plus spray on the motorway, plus the waves literally washing over the car as a result of driving through massive puddles; I'm not a nervous driver at all but it wasn't a nice experience!

Once we had arrived and deposited our overnight bag, we chilled and had a very enjoyable evening. Our other friends met up with us at our chosen venues; nice food, wine and company :-)

As you can see there wasn't much left afterwards :-)
