Populus Candicans

Dashed out quickly in the never-ending rain to take a quick snap of this little survivor. It was the only part left alive when the original tree was destroyed by Honey Fungus.

Set off to meet my friend for lunch but had to turn back because there was a lot of water on the road and the rain was torrential (I do not use this term lightly!).
