Capital jaunt
I polished my chauffeur's cap to drive Artist Anne through to Edinburgh to collect paintings that hadn't sold in the Torrance Gallery Christmas Exhibition.
On our way to meet Cousin Alison for lunch at Henderson's I blipped this view of The Royal Society of Edinburgh's imposing building in George Street. Appropriately, the statue in the picture is (the rear view) of King George IV to commemorate his visit to the city in 1822.
Extra - from one scruffball (Minty) to another (Bitsy)
Is the new series of The Voice really the best the BBC can offer for Saturday night viewing???
