Caution : Thin White Branches, London

A bit of a companion image to yesterday's shot. I really liked the odd combination of the orange cones and the "cold" white silver branches.
I did get some funny looks when I crouched down to take this shot but I'm still quite pleased with it.
I've realised that what I actually love photographing is the strange, everyday things that you come across by accident or serendipity. One of my all time favourite photographers is Willian Eggleston. He could somehow imbue the most everyday subject matters with so many emotions - foreboding, sadness, darkness, surrealness or a strange beauty. I'm still not exactly sure how he does it but it's an alluring alchemy all the same.
