Sunset after a rainy day

It rained the whole morning - the forecast was for sunshine from about 9am but that did not happen, although at the every end of the day I glimpsed this colourful sunset over the tree tops.

There were comings and goings all day at our house - I fetched Luke and a friend from the station late this morning, who were returning from a night out in London (they slept over at another friend's house), then Adam returned from visiting his girlfriend in Exeter, then Luke left for Portsmouth to go to a 21st party, I was in and out running errands in the village. Murdoch gets excited at every arrival and today he had  a lot of excitement!

In between that meals were cooked, smoothies were made and laundry was done. Now for a relaxing night on the sofa...
