Firework Aftermath

The building on the left used to have a nice palm frond roof like the building on the right, but the New Year's Eve fireworks took care of that. Actually, the newspaper reported it was a globo not an errant firework that caused the blaze. Regardless, significant damage was done to this building in an expensive condo development on the hill above Playa La Madera. Makes me glad our roofs are made of tile (and I bet the replacement on this one will be as well).
