On The Last Day Of Christmas....

I started on the Christmas cake.

D and I took down the tree and put all the decorations away. If it was up to him, he would have them all down on New Year's Day but it's just one of the (many) irritations he has to put up with, being married to me. I'm quite superstitious about taking them down on the correct day.
Apparently (according to a lady on the radio this morning|) It's ok to leave some bits 'til Candlemas and also ok to leave some up all year, to leave a little bit of Christmas in your life every day. So, we've left up 2 sets of fairy lights.
Fingers crossed, they'll do the trick. Touch wood.
