Letchworth's Fountain

Hairdresser's appointment today which means a visit to Letchworth Garden City.

As the country's first garden city, is an interesting place but it does seem to have its problems in the town centre. There are too many empty shops and then as part of the redevelopment of the centre of the town there is this "fountain" which at this time of the year sees to serve no purpose other than making the surrounding pavement very wet and slippery!
