Four Peaks

Today the walking group parked at Glendhu Bay and walked from there around the lake to Waterfall Creek.  What a beautiful day, a bit hot, but the 8 of us enjoyed ourselves.  There must have been 50 or more cyclists who passed us, as we spent a lot of time getting off the track to let them cycle by.  As you can see it was a lovely and sunny, with fresh snow on the mountains in the distance.  They are Fog Peak, Niger Peak, Avalanche Peak and Mt Aspiring, which is the highest of them all.  We had a refreshing cold drink at a local cafe before heading for home. Perfect weather, perfect walk.
