Pre-Mono Monday: Beginning

......the run. This is the beginning of the trail as my husband is starting out to run another section of the C&O  Canal in his quest to run all 184 miles of it.  He now has less than 61 miles until completion.

Although Winter officially started December 22, the balmy weather over the holidays had us fooled.  Today we knew that winter is finally beginning.  Hubby has on his warmest running gear and I got out the Long Johns, because it was really cold. 

This week’s Mono-Monday Challenge is “beginning(s).”  Feel free to interpret it literally, figuratively, and be as creative as you like…or not.  As you know, the only rule for Mono-Monday is an image in monochrome with at least a loose association to the theme…so anything goes.
