Call this FUN!

It was fine when we set off, all 23 of us, but after trudging through mud, mud, and deeper mud, it started raining about noon, so we all decided to cut the walk short, and go the shortest way back to Golden Acre car park.

You can see in the collage even the sheep were fed up and very muddy!
The young rugby players however didn't seem to mind.
The more mud the better for them! ( Pity poor mum having to wash their kit afterwards!)
It had just started to rain when we reached this stile.
Back in the park, the catkins were beginning to flower.

So it was an early trip back to our President's house for mulled wine, nibbles and a cream tea!
How we all enjoyed that cream tea!!

Back home now, curtains drawn, fire lit, feet up listening to the radio, and
a nice mug of tea!
Cosy night in!
