Edge

I chose 'Edge' for the 3 Bob Challenge today.

Wind driven rain all day meant My Love and I struggled to decide where to walk the dogs this afternoon. In the end we headed to Skaill and managed to complete the walk just before the tide completely covered the sand.

I've been wanting to try time lapse for a while...and where else than on an exposed beach, frozen and soaked to the skin, my knee for a tripod, a gale whipping the rain this way and that and two idiot dogs famous for photobombing? Although my lens got covered in rain before I'd even composed my shot, I am quite pleased with my first attempt - The edge of the Atlantic Ocean. Extra shot added but had to crop it due to excessive raindrops on lens.

Must also thank Earthdreamer for inspiration from his recent stunning, poor weather shots.

Thanking everyone who dropped by yesterday following BlipFuture's post, such a nice surprise and I feel all gooey and warm at how the blip community is pulling together stronger than ever. I so hope we can do this! Please pledge :)
