Blackpool Tower

We travelled up North to visit my Grandad for lunch, it was great to catch up with him again. We'd decided to stay in St Annes and while we were there decided to take a trip up to Blackpool to see if we could capture the tower and the Ferris wheel in a low light shot. We arrived to a deserted town, if tumbleweed had rolled down the street we wouldn't have been surprised, I guess it's a very different place in the summer. There's something very odd about the brightly lit signs above hotels / clubs which are clearly shut though!

Anyway this is my attempt at capturing the tower, there were some other sites that would maybe have been better contenders, but it had started raining quite heavily by then and we needed to find somewhere for dinner.

The extras show what could have been had the Ferris wheel been lit and an abstract with it out of focus.
