Not perfect

Wet and miserable day.
Only went out for a brief visit to both farm shops.
The Pudsey one had some local duck eggs for sale, so couldn't resist.
They make wonderful egg custards! A nice change from all the Christmas puddings etc.
However as you can see it got a bit burnt at the edges, and was a little runny in the middle.
Not everything turns out perfect!
The good news is it tasted wonderful, and we both had second helpings!!

Not sure about our walk tomorrow, starting at Golden Acre Park, Leeds.
It should be 6.5 miles, but heavy rain is forecast for noon onwards, so the walk may be cut short, and then back to our president's house for refreshments!
( sounds a good idea to me!)

We had a very enjoyable New Years day walking club party yesterday.
Didn't drink too much!, but slept in 'till 9.30 am this morning.
Better set the alarm clock for tomorrow!
