Icycle or Icicle?

I met my sister on Burnham marshes this morning as I fancied photographing the annual Dengie Icycle or Icicle Ride. It was a bit confusing, being an informal event, riders were approaching my chosen vantage point from both directions on the circular route. It was colder than it has been of late but icicles didn't feature. The riders were in good spirits and riding a wide range of machines. My pic is of one of the three penny farthings taking part.

I love the peace and quiet and relative isolation of the marshes.
