Panorama over Kent.....

Out for a walk this morning while the sun shone and the rain clouds held off. It was windy but good to be out in the countryside. 

I love rivers and walking alongside them and canals, and today we followed the meander of the River Darent.from Eynsford towards Shoreham and back. We had to leave the river and climb the hill to get this amazing view. SO much beauty even in winter; fields already sown and crops beginning to shoot. 

Back for a small lunch before dinner with friends tonight and to see the New Year in.


My extra shot is the viaduct at close quarters. Amazing architecture! Such strength! Both views today give reason to stop and look in wonder.
