Silver lining

In sliced beetroot form. Not my intended evening activity but useful for tomorrow. J had a really good session in the tank today and is doing really well but opted for staying at home today instead of going to our friends' party to save himself for tomorrow's party. Given what happened after Christmas Day a smart move. So I popped in for a socialable hello and headed home to have a quiet one and do some random prep for tomorrow. Not entirely sure where these will end up but I think perhaps goat's cheese and rosemary.

So not the planned night and as much as I hate to miss a party it doesn't seem so bad as it is kind of for a good reason, so J can make tomorrow, rather than just because he is broken, if that makes sense.
