Patriotic Partygoers

I hope all of you on this side of the pond had a happy July 4th celebration.

Allison and Erick of Legacy Herefords invited us to their family potluck on Birch Bay, an area that used to be the primary vacation retreat for Whatcom County folk (and people from across the border). The only other person we knew at the party was someone I play pickleball with, but we were warmly welcomed into the fold, and soon felt as if we were part of the family.

Naturally, the burgers were made with Legacy Hereford beef and were excellent -- as were the many other offerings. Foodie Cynthia has done her usual comprehensive coverage of the food in her blip.
