Dreary Winters Day

It was quiet down at the river, school is out, no fishing to be had, no rowing or punting along the river, the ducks are sheltering under the trees - all is  very quiet as the rain continues to fall.

It was dull and dark under the dripping trees, sloshy under foot with big puddles ready to engulf me, grasses just about as tall as myself wrapping their wet blades around me, I shivered and thought of the warm fire at home.

Can you see a figure hanging from the bridge - perhaps a girl swinging reminding me of summer days to come, its okay shes not really there.

It felt right for a mono today, thought it might just liven the image up a bit but it still holds its calmness.

Friday tomorrow - how I would love to see and feel the sun :)
