Party's On!

The crowds have been gathering on the lake on which we live in our houseboat all day, and folks are ready to let go. Given that we have had endless rain, for which I am grateful given the rest of the US weather, people are happy with this clear sun filled day and for the fireworks that are set off right out my other upstairs window when the sky darkens at about 10PM. I could have shot any direction and would have captured the party crowds. So I chose one with the Space Needle.

(See the location map - Gas Works Hill on the north end is covered with blobs that are people - the boats are all corralled down at the south end where the photo points, and there are more there than it looks like. The fireworks barges are straight across west from where I located me and my camera. So you see what I mean - in the middle of a party. Better go dig out a dress I guess!)
