Beijing!

After a brutally early start we arrived in Beijing - to blue skies and the cleanest air you could imagine - we could see for miles and miles. "Unusual" was all our host could say.

After an amazing meal at one of Beijing's oldest restaurants where one speciality was a sweet mushroom soup that made your skin look younger (can't say no to that!) we went sightseeing to the Olympic Park.

It was very, very impressive to say the least. Especially the views from the top of the Bird's Nest as the sun set - quite magical indeed.
