Mega Stress Prevails.......

So, I'm back to work today, as I'm sure you can see from my relatively boring blip, and am straight back into it!!!!!
This afternoon we had a surprise golden wedding meal for 50 people, and as if this wasn't stressful enough.... followed by a full restaurant tonight, including none other than the owner herself!!!!!.....Multiple mini heart attacks were present!!! though thankfully it seemed to pass pretty smoothly!!!!

This weekend coming, is one that I have been dreading for the last month, and is eventually upon us.......Friday, we have a wedding for 150 people, Saturday a wedding for 170 people, and Sunday for 140 people again ( with an late bar extension ), as well as the normal daily lunches, afternoon teas, dinners, and as this week is graduation week for Abertay university, we a few of them thrown in as well!!!!!....its times like these I question my sanity in my choice of profession!!!!....how I love my job!!!!!....lol

This is a picture of the running order and layout ( known as an FBR ), as well as the pre-ordered food for the wedding we have on Friday.... and it is my job to see that the running if it all goes without a single hitch!!!!!....ARGGGHHHHH!!!!
We also have a service style in the hotel in that, if there are 10 people at the table, we use 5 servers, so that they troop out, form an outer circle around the table, and at my nod, all 10 people are served their meal at the same time!!!!.......it is very very impressive to see, but for me leading it, a bit of a heart attack....lol

Anyway, so, I'm afraid my blips over the next few days are going to be of the slightly boring nature, but I really hope you will persevere, and even humour me at times!!!....lol
