Fire on the water!

Today broke bright with blue sky!

We both had a better nights sleep finally, hub still full of cold, but getting there slowly but surely.

We walked down into town, left two of my watches at the jewellers, as both needed new batteries, plus my opal bangle, to see how much it will cost to replace one of the stones, since it got shattered at the airport! We stopped off for a cappuccino on the way back.....could become a weekly habit this ;-)'

We had crayfish tails in lemon mayonnaise on sunflower seed bread, with lettuce and cucumber for,lunch, very yummy :-)

Then, as I had planned, I went out for a couple of hours with my camera. Pennington Flash was a bog, but I'd gone dressed accordingly, although, wellies would have been better!
Went into various hides, lots of tits and reed buntings. One of the hide areas, was more like a mini lake, as it had filled with water; there was a couple of swans swimming on it!

Having photographed many birds, I decided on this shot, as I love the colour of the Cornus and its reflection in the water.
