Boggy soggy foggy

Pretty yucky day today.........the snow has begun to melt, making the garden boggy, the plants and trees are dripping and soggy and to top it all, it's blooming foggy!

We have not had any proper daylight today, the fog has hung around all day long. We had today to,ourselves so,had planned to get out in the fresh air, hoping for a day like yesterday, fat chance!

Instead, we had to settle for a short walk this morning, picked up the morning paper, walked the longer way home, boy was it cold! I finally got to wear my bargain storm wear coat that I got in last years M&S sale, so I was quite toasty :-)

When we got back I had a little scout around the garden to find a blip, the shots I took were pretty uninspiring, so I finally settled on this shot, which I had taken through the patio windows this morning.

An altogether uninspiring day......mind you I have made a turkey, mushroom and bacon flaky pastry pie, and some pea and ham soup, so not a total waste ;-)
