In a day of 2 halves, we started in Manchester then travelled in glorious sun to the Lakes where guess what , it was cloudy. Langdale Beck appears to be low and ready for whatever Storm Frank is about to bring tomorrow.

The textures of this crinkly fungi and and contrasting bridge attracted me to this shot when we popped into Rydal Mount.
