Temporary Lake

Water receding rapidly around here.
These houses woke up on Boxing Day to find the field in front of them had turned into a lake.
While taking this photograph l met and talked to the owner of this land and we both agreed these floods were the worst we'd seen.
The river is nearly back to normal, it is known for rising really quickly, hence the flooding but soon returns to its normal path.
Rain forecast for overnight we just hope it is nothing like the last deluge.
