Oberon Rail trail

Today we drove to Oberon about 45 km away and rode down this rail trail on the bikes. It was very quiet, no cars and only 3 other bike riders. It is very dry, a real danger with summer bush fires. There are a lot of forestry plantations around there so they take care and have emergency fire stations.

After our exercise we drive to Tarana, 22km down to the bottom of the mountains where there is an excellent pub. I had the best steak sandwich...yum yum.
