Bad News

Not what you want to see while packing for a day of photography.  I was getting ready for a day trip to take infrared photos in the mountains just outside of town, when I discovered this.  I don't even know why I took the body cap off, but there it was--the protective glass on top of the camera's sensor had come loose and fallen down at an angle.  It also turns out that was the part an infrared camera converter replaced to enable this camera to see in infrared light.  They apologized profusely and are expediting the repair, but that doesn't salvage my day, or completely allay my concerns about their work.  We'll see....
