Boxing Day

A very damp, dull day today, but not as bad as the north of England. A nice relaxing day with all of my kids, and enjoying a glass of Bucks Fizz.

My eldest two grown up kids came around to visit today. It was nice to catch up with them. Twins 1 & 2 liked their Steam gift cards (an online Game Entertainment Platform), although they weren't sure about the books of steam they had to go through to get to the gift cards.

One of my presents is a build your own twin reflex camera pictured here. This time last year I got a build your own Lomography SLR, which was quite complex. The twin reflex camera seems a little simpler to put together. The weather on Wednesday is looking pretty bad, so in between upgrading Twin 1's PC, I may well be working on building this. Once built, I will have to load film in to them, and the other film cameras I have and try them out. As there's no longer a Jessops or Supasnaps to develop the film, I'll have to look around for a place to do that.

I also have a DIY pinhole camera. It would be good if I could get a couple of pictures on a really nice day with that too, but that requires a darkroom.

There is, apparently, also a DIY digital camera. Just saying.

In the mean time I could watch Birdman with pizza cut with my new Fixie Bike Pizza Cutter.
