Edinburgh Spires

What a contrast to yesterday - I made good use of the rather fine winter sun and went up the Radical Road to take some pics with the new lens of town and in particular the Old Royal High (see extra). Very chuffed with the new lens. Panoramas are in the processing queue.

I was one of the many who ignored the sign say the Radical Road was closed. There was an impressive rockfall (or at least the evidence of it) which would have easily flattened whoever might have been underneath. I was certainly very weary wondering what caused this particular fall. On the other hand it is a sheer cliff which is maintained by falling rocks...
