Trying out the boots
We said goodbye to MrM's dad quite early this morning, when he set off on his long drive home to Lincolnshire.
Then, as it was a beautiful winter's day, we decided on a short walk to try out our recently acquired walking boots. Up to the top of East Hill, near Powburn - not too far, just a couple of miles in total. Fabulous views in all directions from the top - this is looking to the northwest. Very mild (though there's a sprinkling of snow on top of The Cheviot) - no need for hat or gloves - and very good to get out in such glorious weather!
Limited access to the computer over the last few days - hopefully time for some back-blipping tomorrow...
