What a Difference!

Awoke to a beautiful morning so it was out for a bike ride. It was clear from the fields, ditches and streams just how much rain fell over Christmas Day and Boxing Day. However, there was evidence that the run off was beginning to regress.

Enjoyed the early light and views on the ride.

Thoughts are very much with my home town of York as the high water will not occur until later this evening and into tomorrow morning. Concerns have been expressed that it may exceed record levels despite flood works.
