Out came the sun and dried up all the rain

It was so lovely to wake up to sunshine. Well, not exactly...I woke up before sunrise, as sunrise is at past 8.30 nowadays. Still, the sky was clear and throughout the morning it got brighter and by the time I took Jess for a walk, the sun was actually shining.
So it was a bit of a pity that I had booked to take Sarah to the cinema this afternoon to see Dr Zhivago - all three and a half hours of it. An excellent film, though, and we returned home to find that D had the dinner cooked and ready :-)
