Homemade pizza with Dad

Homemade pizza and a crisp cider for Dad and I tonight. The base is ever so easy, just a cup each of plain yogurt and self raising flour.

Dad has taken a copy of the recipe and will now make his own on Saturday nights, instead of doctoring a bought pizza. He enjoyed tonight's pizza so much, and it's a joy to see him interested and working out what he'll put on his.

I felt Mum's pleasure too. I'm sure she's delighted Dad is being well looked after, and he has a new recipe to take home and use. I'm sure she smiled with pride too as Dad used his tablet to search for Annabel Lanbein's easy pizza recipe. At 88 he's pretty sharp :-)

We have just one more full day together tomorrow. We'll make the most of it.
