House Finch

I think this must be a young male because it looks like his red feathers are just coming in.  The other males have much more red on them.  He was sitting in the Maple tree waiting his turn at the feeder.  This is another shot through the window as I didn't step outside today.  We didn't even go out to shovel snow from our White Christmas yesterday.

We had a very nice Christmas day with Darrin's large family, great food and wonderful company!  We spent the day today doing everything we've neglected this past week, like laundry and other mundane tasks.  I hope to get caught up on everyone's journals before I get too sleepy tonight, otherwise, tomorrow morning for sure!
