A BREAK IN THE CLOUDS
It was almost dark before it arrived, but as always it was worth waiting for. After a stormy night that had me creeping around in the street in my nightie wondering what had fallen off the roof (it sounded like an elephant, but was only a slate) and a day dodging showers while doing some last minute business, it was lovely to have a period of quiet weather. The sky became much more vivid after I took this shot, but I was too idle to get the camera out again.
I'm not hosting this Christmas as we are going to our older son's home. It feels weird not even having a sprout to clean. Out later to our younger son's carol service, but meanwhile I have this unusual feeling of having nothing left to do - which probably means I have forgotten something vital.
