Christmas eve Australian style

Phew! Christmas eve and the stressful preparation for services is over. Now we are in the " this is the best that we could achieve, so let's get on with it " period.
Christmas eve midnight service was SO hot! It was still 28C when I headed home again. Naturally, at my suggestion, we served mulled wine and fruit mince pies for supper. That didn't help the heat!
The service went well tonight, all in candlelight.
