Light and shade (Day 229)

I awoke to the sound of very heavy rain this morning and wasn't looking forward to the morning wander with the dogs. Miraculously the rain stopped and the day brightened. The wind was pretty strong and blustery as the dogs charged around in the heather chasing pheasants and rabbits, but it was fairly pleasant.
I trundled off to Birsay to sort a loo, and was back in time to head to Aikerness with the dogs and my beautiful wife. The skies were fantastic and the sunbeams on the skyline seemed to fit the bill for the 3 Bob challenge of "shade". As we walked along the beach we were sand-blasted in the strong wind.
I'm looking forward to seeing what Bob blips today.
