The Amazing race on the Pont des arts

While crossing the Pont des arts today to head to the Institut de France (shown in the background here), I noticed lots of confusion and tv cameras. It turns out they were filming a segment of The Amazing race, though it seemed to be in French... it is on French tv now? I'm afraid I'm not a connoisseur. I think they had to find something in the locks on the bridge and then they were headed to the rue des Mauvais garçons... one participant asked for directions there. I think it is in the 4th arrondissement but I didn't want to risk answering incorrectly...

It is fun to see the passerby's reactions in large.
