Anniversary

Our 13th wedding anniversary today - I can say that it started with a rainy thunderstorm that flooded part of the church (and it's electrics ) and set off hubby's hotel fire alarm in the wee hours (that's the story anyway) - pretty much a normal July day :-)

But our day 13 years ago became warm and sunny and was wonderfully special - warning extra soppy moment - I really do love my husband more than I did on our wedding day, because of the 13 years and what we've been through together to get here.

It was also my dad's 70th birthday, he spent most of it in hospital having exploratory surgery on his knee, but seeing him laugh out out loud as he was showered with rather too many 70 glitter bits and stars in his card was another of today's special moments.
