Pandoro

Inspired by Paul Hollywood, I offered to contribute a pandoro to our Christmas Eve party gathering at friends in town. I've never made an enriched bread before, so decided that I should have a go before attempting to make one in the panic of Christmas Eve preparations. I was pleased with the way it turned out, although it was, perhaps, short of salt. I took a big piece round to my Italian-Scot neighbour who was so impressed that he bought me a pint when we went to the pub to watch Arsenal vs Man City.
