Occupying kids in the holidays #1

Miss K's crystal Christmas tree grew amazingly well overnight. I'm a lover of light, but no chance of getting any "beautifully diverse light" solstice photos round here today: strong wind is driving rain from a uniformly thick grey sky, so taking this using morning daylight is the best I can do. Good luck to the rest of the family trying to enjoy their outing to "Winter wonderland" in EH today!

This is probably the end of creative activities in the holidays now that Miss K has discovered that I've installed Minecraft on the PC. Look out for blipped Minecraft screen-shots - not!
