Singing - no! Skiing in the rain

We had intended to go right over to Couchevel today but we realised once we were at the top that the weather was really closing in. I don't do well in poor visibility, so we skied back. The conditions are really poor lower down. Mr C thought it would be a good plan to have a walk, so we took the dustbins down to the valley floor and did 5 miles wending our way back in the mizzle.

We spotted these hopeful people carrying their skis up. This lack of snow is at 6000 feet. It is raining properly now, and the cloud is thick around us. Hopefully tomorrow is better. I finished my book though!
