The joy of the season

Aethon ni i Dursley i gwrdd â ffrindiau am barti heuldro.  Roedd 45 ohonon ni a chawson ni pryd bwyd arbennig iawn ac amser llawen gyda'n gilydd.

We went to Dursley to meet friends for a solscice party. There were 45 of us and we had a very special meal and joyful time together.

A new word today: heuldro (solstice).  It looks like iot comes from haul (sun) and tro (to turn), so 'turning sun', the time when the sun changes direction.
