Mums orchid

I rescued this orchid from my Dad a few years back. He was reluctant to let me have it, but given that the sister plant that he kept died soon afterwards, I think it had a lucky escape!

I have had a flower before but I got all excited about it and ruined it by overwatering and the flowers all fell off within a couple of days of opening. This time, I am sticking to my once a month watering schedule (roughly) and generally ignoring it. To add to the excitement, there are two more flower stems growing too! I think my mum organised this for a lovely Christmas present! Thanks Mum.xxx
