Free whisky

Finished work on time today to get the train back. RD had sent out an email telling us about a free whisky tasting being organised by the Scotch Malt Whisky Society. Met up the DR on the train and headed out for a quick bite to eat before arriving at the Surgeons Hall for the event. It consisted of a personality test and then drinking 12 half drams and ranking them in your preference. The idea is to see if there are any personality traits for a particular whisky. Some of the drams were very nice and some not, but that was the idea.

J went back to see her dad who is up dog sitting while I have a quick drink with DR after. Great night out. Nice to be able to go out as couple once again.
