Durham shopping this afternoon was so pleasant: mild winds, showers, sun, rainbows and not too many people in the shops. Stocked up on English specialities to take back to Switzerland with us!

Mum was physically better, but mentally somewhere else, this afternoon. She was wise enough to say, "Getting old is no fun."
