19th door of Advent Calendar

And Advent Calendar is a very popular phenomenon in Finland. Every other finn has one, and the idea is to count days up till the Santa Claus coming. This is my calendar!

Slept late before a Very Busy day: cleaned all the home for xmas and visited to my father foo in his dementia ward. Father was happy to see me, very mixed up today, but it was so nice to see that he was in so good mood!

In the evening my daughter went to the local garden shop to find some christmas flowers to the relatives who have forest - and into which forest she has been allowed to plant some baby firs and pines. In the blip she is making lovely compositions out of the hellebores, fresh moss and probhytes that we picked in the evening from the foods nearby.

I have tried to figure out a suitable christmas song for the day, but only find one swedish one. I chose it because it is one of the merriest christmas songs that we sing in Finland and because most of the finnish christmas carrols are so sad and slow that they only are suitable for cutting your wrists,,, :)

So here it is Reippahasti käypi askelet, a Swedish happy christmas song of a family busy prepairing into the xmas: How mum is making all the arrangements in home and grandpa goes into woods to fetch the tree...

Only few days to xmas!
